Arrow I'm undecided...should I ditch my East Bears and reconvert to pop ups?

It's been a while since I've posted so I thought It would be worthwhile to post so I can get some help on this.

I'm going through a major make over on my car ie. s5 Bumpers/Mouldings, new Fenders, Quarter Panels and Rockers. Attention to detail Is heavily focused on. It's a painstaking process to see you dismantling your own FC Into a million pieces which ultimately leaves you looking at the car to not even recognize It as a FC anymore. I do have an Itch to reconvert to my pop ups and probably end up selling my EB's. What do you think, should I? Honest critisism Is encouraged, even at the expense of dissing the EB's (which I have heard before).

I'd keep those head lights they look incredible. I like the popups as well but I think those are a major inprovment over the stock popups. just my oppinion though.

I like the popups, I'm actually going through something like this too. The last owner of my car put dual circle headlights (2 each side, 1 for driving 1 for high beams) while retaining the popups, and honestly I'm not a fan. That's why I recently bought parts to convert back

So I say ditch them, sell them, and put in the square popups

Hmm, I had one too back In the day. Actually two of them. The first one was yanked off my FC at York University. Thanks for reminding me.

Okay, done! Do yourself a favour and pick up your FD Alternator. I'm tired off using It to hold one corner of my car balanced on a jack. It's going to give soon!

I'll get in line for the East Bears too. Although I'd keep them if I were you, they are incredibly unique.

as much as those eb's look great, i feel the same way as ecto mentioned. i just like the idea of the pop-ups, they pop-up when u need them and tuck away when u don't.

Eastbear Lights

Tony,

Personally, I would keep them. I think they look great. I think they make the car look unique. Why be like every other FC? Uniqueness is something I strive for on my own car. Your engine looks so clean and uncluttered. Nice work!!!!

I have been thinking about the CP flush mount headlights for my own car.

Take care.

PS: Thanx for sending the bolts for powdercoating.

Thanx

Michael

I'm a hard core popup junkie, but I couldn't imagine your car without the East Bear lights. Keep them.

That's a clean ride. I like it very much. I would've filled in the sides and painted. give it a smooth look. You couldn't fill in the part between the front bumper cover and the lights but I would make the fender and the lights look like one piece.

To answer, I like that look as well as the square pop ups. They both look nice and I would take em both.
