i have, what i think is an '86 rx-7. i read the little thing at top to figure out what model it is, because it doesnt have any badges or decals. it has a sun roof electric mirrors, it has what i thought were the bbs lightweight wheels, thyre the same style, but 2 piece and say light weight on them. chrome lip with a black honeycomb center. it has cruise control, but not power windows. has locking buckets in the back. the lights on alarm, and the light key hole. so i used to think that it was a sport, then i was leaning tword a glx. but none of these lighn up with any of the options. maybe it isnt even an 86. the door says 86 though. help.

Someone probably added and/or removed options on the car at some point.

 

If you get the vin we can tell you the year. Is the car a 4 or 5 lug pattern?

 

the only cars that came from the factory without mazda or rx-7 emblems were the '86s, like mine.

 

86 models came with emblems and markings, but they were stickers as opposed to the later plastic badges.

Sounds like a luxury coupe that someone added parts too.
