my 86 gxl is running atleast 2 bars rich on my gauge all the time...and some times when i start it boggs for about 5 - 10 seconds....myt car is all stock exept i have a strait pipe to repleace the cat. i just replaced wires, plugs, and put a k&n filter but no change...i am clueles at this point....i read and saw in my model ther soposed to be a air fuel mix screw but i dont know where its at? is that the same screw for the idle? waht can i do...please help....

oh and where can i get the pdf files? all the linbks dont seem to work n/e more

this is a reading taken from the factory narrowband 02 sensor?
are you fouling plugs or something?

the only way to actually really lean out the car would be with some type of fuel control...SAFC or Emanage or standalone or SDS.....

If your not fouling plugs though and the car runs good I would just use it...doesn't sound to me like the thing is chugging fuel like **** or anything too crazy....

running rich 2 bars on narrowband? sounds about normal i believe.... bogs whenyou start it? you could have leaky injectors, get them cleaned and see if the problem persists would be my recommendation.

Yeah sounds like my '87, probably leaky injectors, mine leak after shutting the car off for a bit, sometimes making restarts rough / smelly, as suggested sending them out and getting them cleaned / serviced should hit the spot. Had the same problem with my '90 and it took care of it.
