I'm a noob and need help

I'm from the 3rd gen eclipse site www.eclipseforums.org and my friend told me that his friend was selling a 2nd gen rx-7. He couldn't remember if it was turbo or not, all he remembered was everything worked great and it was in excellent condition except it has no transmission and it was an automatic. Now the thing I need help with is I need to know if there is a certain manual tranny that I need or will any 2nd gen rx-7 manual tranny bolt up to it and if I need the ECU from one that had a manual in it. please help

There are auto to manual swap threads in the Archives. Should answer all your questions. You can use the auto ECU without a problem.
