I'm a NEWBIE!!

hey you'all jus bought a '90 Rx7 13B 5-speed. I bought it to swap in a 383 SBC, but i found out the car is actually running and is driveable. So i am thinking about just selling the SBC and supin up the stock motor. I dont know anything about rotary engines at all. Is it as simple as adding a turbo to any other car? I just basicaly want to know what is needed to turbo the car.

sorry for my ignorance. I tried to search but i am on my laptop right now and it is runnin kinda slow so...

deciding to stick the rotary is a good plan, but you really need to start studying before you start doing anything drastic. If you have a rx7 shop around where you live, get them to do it. other than that, welcome to the rotary lifestyle. Full of insult and opinions.

cant just swap a turbo. better of doing the swap... they dont run that much and are fairly easy to do and more bang for your buck out a turbo than NA

well heres my advice...
start saying your money!

i've spent over the buying price on my rx7 in repairs,
soon to double that price too...

but once you've replaced nearly everything on a 20 year old car,
they're pretty reliable and are a **** load of fun

Welcome to the world of rotatries!!

But as far as turboing and what not....get it running and driving good stock. Then from there, the sky is as high as your wallet is deep!
