Talking I'm new here, have some 2nd gen questions!

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum, and I'm interested in buying a 2nd Gen non-turbo RX-7. I have some questions.

1. Any good performance part sites? (and are there any turbo kits for this car?)
2. any major problems with this generation of car?
3. Are they fun to drive?
4. Anyone here have a good cheap one for sale?

Thanks for all your help!

There are quite a few good sites to get parts, here are a few, but I am sure everyone else on here knows of more sites than myself.
rx7.com
rx7heaven.com
mazdatrix.com

Problems, well everyone has their share of problems, I know I have. And yes RX7s are absolutely fun to drive. Check in the sells section for any for sale, or try ebay, or any of the car selling websites where you can search for what you want.

You said you want to buy a non-turbo rx-7 and then ask for:
"Any good performance part sites? (and are there any turbo kits for this car?) "
You should buy a TII instead of doing the conversion.
Yes the car is fun to drive.
Look in the for sale section for people selling their rx-7's

The RX-7 is the sweetest car I have ever driven. I have a '86 GXL n/a and I love it!!

www.mazdatrix.com is definitely the greatest website for this car. They have everything you could imagine for them. You won't regret getting an RX-7!!!

I've only been here a short while also and every where I go I get recommended the Turbo II 2nd Gen RX-7.

- they look sweet
- it's easier to find parts for them
- they're cheaper to run than a 3rd Gen
- and they're in a lower price range

Sorry I don't know any specifics (I'm in the same boat as you)
