im preety sure that the the factory 2+2 option will just drop in there in place of the storage bins... and that the clips and everything are all there
so id guess that you just need to obtain a rear seat from somewhere.... ebay... junkyard... forum
but then what do i know, my car doesnt have either

I had a 2+2 in my car that, believe it or not, I used to rie in.......but that's when I was a kid (step-dad was original owner of the car). Once I hit teenager years, there was no way to comfortably fit back there anymore, and I am no tall monster of a person either. I took mine out a couple weeks ago since the car is downed for a T2 swap right now.

I have a 2+2 and am 6 feet tall. I have looked at the back seats, and haven't even thought about attempting to sit in them. The only way I'm going to have more than one passanger is if my hatch is empty and the person doesn't mind lying down in it... I'm most likley eventually going to take out the "back seats" (they are too small to even call real seats) and put some subs in their place... but i think first i should get the car working... :-)

I've fit 6'2" people many a times in the back seat for short trips. No you couldn't tour across the country with someone in the back seat, but for short trips its fine.
Sit sideways with *** on one side, feet on other side. Head will be tilted slighly as to not hit roof.
And guys... the seat does't weight that much. Before you talk about weights fo these things, you may want to compare the bucket assemblies with the seat....

Its not so bad guys. I have to haul my friends to and from the bar in my back seats. They might bitch and complain, but they can "get da **** out" if they don't want a ride. Personally, I'd take the ride.. I even had a friend drive so I could ride back there and see what all the bitching was about... its not bad, as long as you don't mind humping you're friends back if they stop suddently.

The seats are great because you can throw stuff in the back and not have it fly all over the place (it just stays in the bucket) the cargo bins would be a little of a point to turn around and dig for stuff where you can barely see. (definatly don't look in the bins while driving on the freeway!).

You know......with the 2+2, you would actually be able to recline your seats all of the way. It wouldn't come in much handy unless you had a hot date, but still, you would actually be able to hit it in your Rex.

Yes you can recline all the way.. and yes, I've thought about that, but was -- this close to "testing" the theroy.
My mom writes insurance (but isn't an agent) and she told me I should be getting a discount for the 2+2 option since its, "not really a sports car if it has 4 seats up to a certain HP rating". Everything except collision is running me $77/mo (almost full coverage).
I met a girl that said she fit at least 6 people in her car. She had the same exact car as mine (her mommy's car), it was even white. A guy was sitting halfway on the console and in someone's lap. Talk about a mess if they were in a wreck. Stupid people..

I loved my rear seats! They may not be the most comfortable thing in the world to sit in, but like BobbyRX said, they're great for keeping things from sliding all around in the back. I'm 5'9 and the seats don't feel too bad. I love how the buckle is as big as my fist...
