nah, just a typical "turbo can't keep up" problem. happens to all of us.

add a list of your mods to give us a better idea of what you're dealing with

ahhh, ported wastegate. that's what's killin ya.

but it's something you need to have. i think the only way to fix that is with an electronic boost controller.

tell you what tho, you can make a custom intake like i did and you can run 20psi to redline like i did, and then you can blow your motor up like i did. hahaha

make sure your fuel pump is getting the right voltage. mine isnt nearly as modded as yours so i dont know if its the same but my boost would fall off i was only getting 10v to the pump. Fixed it and it now holds boost. also do you still have your secondary throttle plates?

i'm telling you, if you have the stock intake, that crap is gonna happen

or, if you have the stock exhaust, that crap is gonna happen

now, if you have both intake and exhaust and you boost falls off at high rpms, and your wastegate is ported, then you need to find another way of controlling your wastegate.

Yup the stock turbo is only good to about 12 psi after that you are only creating extra Heat. It is really past the efficiency of the turbo, As Scott suggested if you want to run more power time for a larger turbo!

you are rigth about the 12psi thing, but mine pulled like a SOB when i was above 15 on the stocker. agreed, there's a **** ton of heat coming from it and the stock IC ain't doin a damn thing anymore, but it's a hell of a lot faster.

i would also agree that the same 15psi would pull a bunch harder with a more efficient turbo and IC. but that's over my budget. one thing i have to realize tho, a FMIC is cheaper than a new motor, which is what i'm going through now because of the 15+psi i was talking about.
