I havent done the swap yet but as far as ive heard u can either use a turbo tranny and driveshaft or a non turbo tranny and buy a custom made driveshaft from mazdatrix.

T2 Swap eh?/.T2 Clutch pressure plate.starter..Slave cylinder(clutch)..the Driveshaft won't hook up to an N/A DIFF unless it is Custom(mazdatrix, and so on).or you totally Swap out the rest of the drivetrain also.(that means Driveshaft,Diff and Half shafts.)

Ive just started collecting the parts for my turbo drivetrain swap and i had a quick question. Do i need to get a subframe from a turbo model as well? Right now ive just got the differential so im not even close to getting it put in there. Thanks in advance.

^^ Don't thread jack, just make your own. And no you do not need a turbo subframe, they're the same.

As far as the driveshaft issue its been covered. You should just go entire T2 drivetrain.

I didnt mean to thread jack but since it is under the same topic it seems logical to use another person's old thread instead of starting a new one for a little question. Thanks for the help though.
