I'm confused(wiring question)
T2 never had the AAS. Right? Why are there connectors for it? I'm guessing just cheaper to make one harness for all models?
Here's my plight. I got a boost controller and was looking for a switched (+) somewhere on the pass side of the engine compartment. It's easier to use a wire already there than to pull a new one. Looks cleaner with less "custom" wiring IMO. ANYWHO, One of the pins is switched 12v which is what I need. Being that the t2 dosen't have AAS what fuse is it on?I was going to put an inline fuse on it anyway but I was just curious.
Oh, it's a 1988 T2. Stock harness. Yes, it's 6-port but only the block is. Everything else is t2.
Thanks.

Well the safe way would be to use that switched for activating a relay. But I am sure if you looked at the wiring diagram you would be able to see what fuse and circuit feeds the AAS wire you are looking at.
