Hey there

I want to buy this '90 parts car but the guy says that someone tried to steal it at one point and stuck a screwdriver in the ignition lock and broke it off in there. I was wondering how I could start it without a key and the broken off screwdriver in the ignition lock.

Also does anyone know where to get a cheap new ignition lock (place where you stick the key)? I saw one for $150 but I was just wondering if there were any that are better priced.

You could rig up a push button

 

If you plan on buying this car for a daily driver and intend to fix her up real nice, just get a new OEM ignition switch. If you can't afford something like that, then you probably don't want to get involved with 15 year-old RX-7's in the first place
