Ignition issue after battery relocation

Ok so I have a 1986 n/a i decided to do some mods finaly and put in a new intake system electric fan koyorad took out my a/c and did a battery relocation. So got it all finished up hooked up the battery turned the key and whats this. nothing. Its sort of strange the battery is good and fully charged i get no gauge lights or idiot lights but i get door lights. It seems to be something with my igniton but i have no idea whats going on. i have power through out the car checked all my new lines and for a fyi i did replace the stock battery lines to the starter and alternator. i ran new grounds and i took the ground off of the starter bolt. im curious if that is actually my problem tehir so if anyone can tell me if that was a bad idea and if i should run a new ground their or not.

But as i was sayingi turn the key and i get no idiot lights no clicks from the starter but the starter is good. checked all the fuses and their all good as well.

If you have any ideas or questions please do tell or ask away and ill try to get as much infor back as possible so i can solve this problem i need my car back

Well I think the first thing you want to try is regrounding your starter, how do you expect it to get any power without a continuous circuit from both poles? As for the battery relocation, if you had it under your hood and you moved it behind one of your seats, you're probably suffering from mass power loss through wiring. I actually moved my battery back under the hood from behind my seat because the engine was barely turning over on a fully charged batteries. Double check all the wiring changes you did and keep in mind directly out of the positive battery post your harness branches off into the most critical components. If you're getting power to some things and not others and the only changes you did was a relocation and wiring, theres probably a loose/missing ground somewhere. And remember, when dealing with starter connections and what not, they are usually intertwined with ecu and ignition components and possibly even your ECU, so leaving a ground out could easily disrupt many critical components.

Hope this helps, Steven.

Thanks this weekend i will reground the starter bolt to see if that does the trick. Im not sufering from a power loss anywhere i did check all the wires and im getting 12V to everything that needs it my headlights turn on and my interior lights also turn on its just seems to be my acssesory options dont turn on so ill see if the ground helps out.

Thanks
