Hey Billy,
Nice Project you have going. I am going to try to make it out to some rally events this year. I might work a few as well. I've never seen one in person but I love watching it on TV. I work on a race team as well. We race two 1st gens. One in ITA and the other in E production. Since we're neighbors maybe I'll see you at an event.

Mike

Team ROARR (Roswell Outback Automotive Rotary Racing)
I am crew cheif for #67 ITA car driven by Frank Ball. And Jeff Dernhel drives the #10 E prod car.
There are some pics of the cars at http://24.98.180.112:8080/balz/www/i...RX7EngineSwap/
The EP car is the last pic and the IT car is in the rest of them. These are pics of the cars at the shop today. They are being preped for 02 season.
There are soom pics from Road Atlanta in July at http://www.ofoto.com/BrowsePhotos.js...id=65859428103
We had to change our #'s for that race because of late entries. IT7 is #07 and EP is #40
Thanks for the invite but I have plans already. I would love to go.
I was talking to someone at the last meet at Syms in Dec about rally. That wasn't you was it? If it was, the race car that was there is the one I work on.

Nice website!
A quick question for you racers. Do you run braided stainless fuel lines. If so, how do you adapt them to the stock hardlines from the firewall?
Hey stinkfist,
Saw TOOL at AllTell Pavillion in NC, just f*ckin blew me away! But they didn't play " Learn to Swim"!

As far as the stainless fuel line. Our IT car just uses rubber line. Our EP car uses stainles fuel line from the fuel cell all the way to the carb.
I would think that you could flare the stock line and put a fitting on there to mate your stainless line to it.
bwaits: check out the SE forum for more specific info. Syms is just a big empty parking lot that we hang out in. At the far side of the lot there is a Mexican restuaraunt that gives us a discount if we come with our "club" . There are usually between 8- 25 Cars there and It's always fun. We meet every thursday at 8 for dinner and 9-9:30 for standing around in the parking lot and talking about our cars. I figure we will start hanging out in the resturaunt longer since its cold now. We haven't met in a while because of the holidays, but we are meeting this thursday. I havent decided if I'm going are not yet.

TOOL is my fav band too. I'm a diehard fan. I got stickers all over my car, posters all over my room, and t-shirts. I've seen every show they did in the area, including the last one in SAC which really sucked *** cause drunk morons threw stuff on stage. I live by TOOL. Hell, my dog's name is Maynard =]
PS - I was disappointed that they didnt play Eulogy at my show either. Thats my favorite song, or close to it.

tesla,
The stock dash cover with all the inner metal removed and cf plates over the holes in center console and gauge cluster. It looks like the a-pillar tubes would go down through the holes where the triangle vents are. Since we are putting the cage in and then the dash - it will prob. needs to be cut to fit. Second stage will prob. see a mold being made of the dash and fiberglass or CF part pulled from it - so we can try for our 2150# target weight.
