idling?
so I'm lookign at an NA S4, but I am concerned with how it would take to idling for short periods of time. I would deliver pizzas with it so it would be idling for max of about 7 mins at a time while I run to the door. how well would it take to that?

It should be fine. The worst thing for the rotary is not letting it warm up befor you shut it off, you may have to take it out once in a while and run it ( get it above 4k rpm but dont kill it) to burn off some of the oil and other products of cumbustion that may build up because of the idling, oh yea dont forget to keep the oil changed

It should idle fine as long as you have the idle set to around 1500 if your worried that much.
Question....
Why are you getting the worlds worst gas mileage per liter car if your going to be driving it for a living? City driving at that. I get about 11 MPG city. Get a 240 or something if your going to be driving it a couple hundred miles a week.

I've thought about that, and I am looking at 240s aswell. I just really like RX-7s and this was going to be a trade of sorts. this might just get picked up as a fun car and serve as a delivery car till I find something cheap and reliable. then get a roll bar and be my track/autoX beater.
