Idle surge Question: VIDEO MOVIE TIME!!

ok some of you might be familar with the trials and tribulations that wereendured trying to diagnose this idle condition.

After redoing the whole fuel system(pump, most of the lines, filter, injectors, injector clips) , installing new Rtek7 Stage 2.0 ECU, new spark plugs, and alot of other things, deleting the subzero system and other tricks and blah blah blah.....I decided to make a video to see if that would help matters at all.

Today I got it started again after the whole fuel system upgrade and got to drive it for a bit. I noticed that the rpms hold steady when you give it a set amount of throttle while the car is moving in gear, however when you let off or clutch it it starts to surge again. when you give it a set amount of throttle while the car not in gear idling it will surge at the higher rpm.

I don't know, I'm geting frustrated.

Please take a moment and offer your thoughts. I appreciate it. Enjoy, feel free to make fun too....

1. Put some gas in your car.

2. Dust your interior.

3. Try adjusting your TPS.

yeah tps was adjusted, then it was replaced and adjusted to with spec, though I was confused about seeting it or the timing first, it sounded like you needed to do one before the other but the one is dependant on the other. thanks though, now that it running again I can check timing and readjust the tps though....

I did add more fresh gas, but do you really think the dust would affect the idle like that?? haha, I hear ya though, I had to drive this sucker through my muddy *** yard just to get it on the driveway.

keep em coming.

+1 for TPS. My cars doing the exact same thing right now, I'm just too lazy to go to the junkyard to pick one up.

what about getting a new (as oppsed to another POS from the junk yard) tps, or converting to the magnetic, FD style tps.

ok, so I'll check the timing (which was never done to my knowledge) and then I'll adjust the TPS again. Does anyone know where to find the most affordable new TPS, I have found one or two but they are about $180 as I recall.

13bturbofc, this car has an Rtek7 Stage 2.0 ECU which was reset, the configurations reloaded and everything is set to stock( not timing or fuel changes) except for the fuel control set for the (4) 720cc injectors.

My car was doing this and I noticed it was idling higher than usual, I lowered the idle adjustment via the screw on top of the the TB and it hasn't done it since...
