Idle randomly goes to hell while driving

So sporadically when driving I will approach a light and car will nearly die then I will drive off and stop again later on and the idle will be rock solid, what could the culprit be?

have you cleaned your bypass air valve lately?

Have not cleaned the valve lately, probably wouldnt hurt to do so. No vac leaks that I am aware of.

I'd check the TPS setting.
