850 as per the FSM. You should go to 3000 at startup, then it should idle down. Once fully warm, 850 +/- 50 is generally the norm.

I think he has an N/A so his idle would be on the top of the throttle body. Under a rubber cap.

Do yourself a favor. Read the FSM section dealing with idle before you go messing with that stuff. The potential to screw things up is pretty high.

Really 3000 at startup? Mine only goes to 1500, then I let it warm up for about a minute, and drive slowly for about 5 minutes, and it drops to normal. That's good right?

What does it mean when you don't have a 3000 RPM warm up ?

Cause mine only had about 1500 or 2000 or something like that.

IT means nothing...Most people, including me, have disabled the 3K cold start.

Why have u disabled the 3k warmup? Just curious I have an 87 n/a. Should I do that and how do I do it? Or is it only for t2 owners?
Thanks

Jon
