Idle Problem Need Help!!!

I'm a little new with the Rx7, I have owned my first Fc3s for 3 months now. It starts up and idles at 2000 rpm t5hen when its warm it will either die or the idle will flutter between like 550 and 900. Can any one help me. I havent touched anything yet to try and fix it?
My Rx7 is a 1988 GXL non turbo, manual, 13b.
Oh also looking to buy a turbo 13b engine with turbo and trans if you have any suggestions. I building the car for drift only its not going to be a daily driver. I want it to run with engine it has now so we can do some drift passes to learn a little a more on our suspension set up.
Thanks

I would guess that you need to set the timing on your DRIFT car. Also get ahold of a factory FSM and that will give you the procedure. Welcome to the club
