If no vacuum leaks, take an ohm meter and test the BACV, there is a plug towards the bottom of it.....it should read I believe 10.7-12ohm

quick question, my rx does the same thing during start only when its cold. when its cold it takes about 3 cranks to start it up, then i have to steady at like 2,000rpm for like 10 minutes or until it reachs that first marker on the temp gauge to get it to stay on. if i just crank it, itll rev up then shut off. when its warmer outside it takes 1 try to start it but i still have to hold it at 2,000 for like 5 min or itll cut off. but after i get it to that first mark on the temp gauge it runs perfectly fine, any ideas? im trying to fix the problem because it really annoys me having to start the car then wait around to get goin
