idle issue driving me crazy

car info 88 vert s4 turbo swap has 3inch down pipe and resonator to stock y pipe and mufflers which just blew out as well . car ran good before once it was warmed up . One day I'm driving when i came to a stop car stalled was hard to start and wouldnt stay on unless you held the gas n rpms over 2k. after that car was running funny and wasnt pulling as hard. noticed a vacuum hose was off fixed all the vacuum hoses. Now the car starts up idles up to 2k then when warm goes down to 900 rpm then up to 1200 rpm up down up down up down . Has anyone had a problem like this or what should i start doing to get rid of this problem . can it be that the mufflers are blown out that the car is running like that. all help will be appreciated and i been looking all over for similar problems

You need to set the Green/Red wire of the TPS to 1 volt w/key to on and the engine as hot as it can get.

I think you still have a air leak some where in the motor

My 89 has the same issue when idling. Typically they are supposed to be around 800 rpm but mine goes between 1300 and 1500 up down up down then when it is fully warmed up it stays steady at 1500. I have tried adjusting the idle multiple times and it stays right for a few days then goes back to doing the same thing.

Also, occasionally when I am driving in first it will be driving totally fine then it will just kill while I am driving so I will start it back up and most of the time it will drive just fine after I restart it and then once it was driving normal until I shifted into second and it revved up to 7000 and was going like 15 mph with my foot OFF the gas and brake... just driving on it's own until I pulled off the road. Any suggestions as to what could of caused that??
