Ive done a search but didnt come up w/ a answer to my problems. ... so ive decided to make a post



The cable connecting to the gas pedal and the turning thing inside the engine bay came off its 'tracks' and ivebeen running w/ about 2inchs of gas pedal response for bout 3 months.

Yesterday I fixed the cable and put it back on the track.. but immediated the idle raised to 1500 and when its in N the idle started jumping... it happens regardless of warm/cold ... but when in gear the problem is just high idle

the screw on the tps cant turn any more ... is there and explanation for this ? everything was running at 750 warm when the cable was off the tracks ... i dont understand

any help out there ? thanks
