yeah im just wrapping up my gxl build and my idle is @ 2k. i removed p/s and a/c and im waiting for my RB true dual header back. when i was messing with the air and fuel screws i got the idle to 1300 but it got hot really quick even with a BIG electric fan. i figured it was too lean so i gave it more fuel andthe rpm went to 2k again and held temp ok (slowly went up). should i wait to get the header back on? will the backpressure lower the rpm alittle? what is the problem? also the other day when i was starting it the engine backfired really loud...is that bad?
