Idiot lights

Whats up with the idiot lights?
Do they constantly glow untill i start the engine?
I dont understand why the "heat" and "hatch" glows...
(all the other also glow, but i aint got any water or oil..)

They're always on like that until the car starts. Generally they work off the alternator voltage, so if it's below 13.5 or so they come on.

Yes, it's so you can check if any of the bulbs have blown. A warning light is pretty useless if the bulb's dead.

okey... But after ca9 sec an alarm also turns on.. I dont realy understand it.. I havent startet it yet, but its a bit wired that an alarm starts whining! Is this usual? :P What can be wrong? my water and oil level is okey..

Its a very anoying buzzer..
Good thinking icemark but it wasnt the seat belt
Btw its to sounds.. one clear beeeeeeeeeep and the one buzzzzzz.....

First step is to read the resistance of the coil, to make sure it's not open. Resistance should be one ohm or less across the coil terminals...

Over the top switch is your 5th gear switch, used by the ECU for emissions and driveability functions.

If your tach is working, then your trailing coils/igniter probably is too...

hmm okey, the coil is not open. My car doesnt start so i cant se if its working..
I tried to check if there was a spark on the T sparkpluggs.. and it didnt look like it..
Do you know how the coil w/igninter works(what are the 4 wires for?) ? Is it possible to get wiring diagrams for the ECU and other electronics on the car?
