ok, since i don't have the luxury of having an owner's manual (there wasn't one in the car when i bought it) i have no way of telling what the idiot lights mean. fc3s-pro.com is unreachable, and the adobe acrobat files at iluvmyrx7.com aren't working either. well the other day the light on the very bottom right (says check with a picture above it) came on while driving on the highway. it would go away if i gave the car some gas, then a couple minutes later it came back. i figure it's something along the lines of check your oil, it may be low, but i have no way of telling for sure. so, what does this light signify?

second, i went ahead and changed my oil today, and filled it with a little under 5 quarts of valvoline 20w50, but the light still came on tonight while driving. i was getting on it and redlined 1st and second, and almost wound out third, could this possibly cause the light to come on? my oil pressure read just a little under 60, but yesterday, before i changed my oil, it was right at 60. i checked my oil level right after the light came on tonight and it was right at the full line. i've been wondering if this has something to do with my omp, or if it's normal.

yesterday the motor passed the 1000k mile mark, so i figured it'd be ok to play with a little bit. should i just wait a little longer or is it safe?

that would be your check engine light...run a test light on your car and see what code it throws...
