It means one of your "Stop" lights are out.

Same thing happens to me, the connections are loose on your brake lights.

So you broke your break lights. (I love puns)

Sometimes its simply playing with the wire, finding the right spot.

just make sure all the bulbs work... including the center one.

also check your brake fluid. but I think that might be a different light.

yeah, low brake fluid trips either the BRAKE light or the STOP light

If you don't know, please don't guess...

The BRAKE light is for the handbrake being on or low brake fliud.

The STOP light is a blown lightbulb. (A loose connection is far less likely.)

And the FSM does say what all the warning lights are for on page 15-35.

Boy...If a light came on in my car that said STOP, I think I would.

It's been my contention for years that idiot lights should be a bit more specific. "Check engine" should be changed to at least two lights. One says "If you don't stop right now, something very unplesant is going to happen" and the other says "It'd be a good idea to get your car checked out before too long"

So I guess this doesn't solve your issue. Sorry.
