Identifying a Flex a Lite e-fan.

Where in the hell is it? I have looked over it and can't find it. Just wanting to know which one it is so I can buy replacement parts for it and throw it in my TII.

I'm probably going to feel stupid when somebody tells me where it is.

So I take it they are shitty e-fans. Welp, time to look at getting something else.

yes they are.

better off finding a production vehicle e-fan that fits, like a taurus fan. may not look as legitimate but they last, like, forever.

Taurus fans are good.
I ran a Merc Villager fan (has 2 speeds). It was a real good fit, covered the whole rad with minimal cutting of the plastic shroud on the fan.Easy to fit to the body/fan/rad..
You'll find I swear by these as I used it and served me well But there are others.Aaron Cake mentions some other brand vehicle fans But off the top of my head I can't recall them..sorry.
Clokker may chime in with some of his mods..He has done some research on these rotary air oscillation devices!

Here are my early ramblings on the matter.
Although I've made a few detail changes since then, the original setup is still a fine starting point.
I've never popped the 30A fuse and the car runs perfectly cool.

I would consider this OEM approach to be far more "legitimate" than most setups I've seen.

Thanks for all the input gents. I know that Taurus fans work, and I believe Aaron Cake has used Fiero efans. I suppose I will visit a junkyard and do some scrounging. I'm pretty decent now at wiring up stuff with my school studies.

Do you believe going up to the higher amperage FD alternator is worth it? Has to be IMO, since the FC alternator is so puny.
