arent fox body mustang (not sure of actual years) lights much like ours? and thunderbirds? though, if you were goin for similar, that may be too much work for little outcome. unless you are okay with " its the little things that count" idea even when it costs a lot (then again, maybe it will be dirt cheap)..

skyline or miata lights might be OK, but i'd have to see it first to be sure.. between the two i'd say skyline is the best choice
Then think of a car where aftermarket tails or ones from another car would look better than stock...

depends on what you consider "aftermarket"

you can modify tails to look better, thats for sure.. example would be tinting them to pretty much pure black on a black car.. in that sense, it is not really stock anymore, but can look 100 times better

other than that, i've seen trucks that mold caddy tails in and that HAS looked better than their stock tails at times.. im also willing to admit that CF black altezzas on SOME suv's look better than stock... you cant say that stock is the optimum tail for every car out there

i dont know how those are put together, but i'd remove the lenses and flush them to the car i think. lines look nice, though and add character, but the R34's lines are meant for any other car.

is what that link should be.

oh, and fwiw, i think our taillights are too big to graft anything on that would be attractive. the s5 lights are damn sexy, too. hell, the s4 lights are more attractive than some of that bullshit above me.

I'd only use the part of the tail that's on the body, not the part that's on the trunk.

What I'm going to do is get a piece of cardboard and take it to a Saab dealer afterhours. I'll make a cutout of the shape of the tail, and see if it'll wrap around the shape of an FC or not.

And since I have no need for a license plate anymore, the whole area between the lights was going to be smoothed down flat.
