Since we're on the subject, Is there any usefull port profile that would still be smoggable in CA, or should I just do a motor swap for smog every two years?

Angry Smog Help!!!

I was thinking today, what about the smog test, i live in NY, i have the block off plate kit off ebay, EGR blah blah...im not gunna have anythin on there, no 6 ports, big *** port job goin to run premix, do you think i will pass... i guess ill have to put a cat on....then take it back off!!!!

ive heard that they do smog testing at idle...right?

if thats so...then you could do a half-bridgeport...cuz at idle i dont think the bridges would come into play...or you could just port the secondaries?

Look up i have pix of my port job, it's not that small lol take a look, guess I have to get to know some people around here, i just moved from NH , I wanna see some more port jobs!!!! or pix of your rx7 smokeshow (tires)

Ne1 know of anybody in the louisville, ky area that does porting on engines? cost? I would look into doing it myself if I had faith that I wouldn't destroy something 8).

Lats time I got smogged, it was at a test only station here in California. They smog it on a dyno. I passed, even with one of my cats hollowed out.
