Call local body shops and ask. If the body is clean, you're looking at 2k+ for a good quality clear coat job, 800-1k for a basic paint job, or 250 for the Maaco special. Prices go up if there are any dents/rust that need to be repaired. Sometimes you can find a shop where you do all of the prep work and they just do the painting, which will be cheaper. Remember, price is almost always relative to the quality of the work done.

Those are total ballbark figures. Ask around local body shops and such for actual prices. You can also ask other people that might know for recommendations on a good place to go. I got a recommendation on a place tha would do all the work on my car (it had lots of dings) for 1100 without clearcoat. Just do some local research and you might find you a deal.
