I weighed my "heavy" 10AE a few weeks back:

2714 lb.

So there.

Mods:
No spare, jack.
mat under the hatch carpet removed
no emmissons
aftermarket exhaust, no cats, but a cast iron DP that must weigh 20lb
1/4 tank of fuel.

I thought 10AE's were heavy? 2700lb doesn't sound that bad!

The new exhaust cut at least 100 lbs. The stock cat is a pig

What's a sport with t2 brakes? I thought the SE already had the 4 piston brakes, same as the TII. I'm probably wrong, so someone help a dumbass out .

my 88 TII completely stock and half tank of gas weighed 3040 with me in it... and i weigh 180. So that puts my TII at 2860.

Umm, I think people like to see their post counts go up (which I am doing here, but that is first, and it is only to demonstrate a point).

I would have thought you knew that j/k...

No, you're a dumbass (just teasing)

The SE was the base strippy model in the USA without any of the niceties such as the heavy duty suspension, and the 4 piston front brakes w/ vented rear rotors... things that the Turbo also got when it came to the USA.

The SE came with base 4 lug, single piston brakes w/o even vented rear rotors.
