Well i know someone who machines metal. He can make manifolds. If i was able to mate a holly 4bbl tb wo it could it work? Just a cool idea for someone who wants to try it.

They have holley intake manifold already, it would be better to make an intake that would be custom lengths to take advantage of different port timing between the primary and secondary ports. And I would suggest using webber style TB's for this idea.

Yes, it could easily be done. But you'd be hard pressed to out engineer Mazda. They put alot of effort into building the S5 intake manifold.

Carbing the engine will simply result in a decrease of power and drivability.

mabey on a stock car.

carbing is the cheapest and easiest way to get rid of the afm, and properly tunned with headers and full exhuast will yeild more power than the stock EFI.

the intake manifolds arn't designed for the maxium performance there designed for drivablity, and economy.

A friend of mine custom made an intake manifold for his turbo GSL-SE, he used a GM intake lower/upper and TB and adadeted it to the beer keg.

fasted time he ran was an 11.3 at 124

Dude the only way it would be cheaper is if you buy USED parts. I wouldn't.

More power I don't thinkso man. EFI has much more TUNEABILITY than a carburator. It is also not as tempermental as a carb and will waiste less gasoline than a carb. I think I went though three or four threads a while back. I decided to go with EFI when I do change out the stock junk ECU.
