I thought that the RX had finally bit the big one !!!
Boy am I glad that I have been reading the RX forum!! The other day my wife called me at work and said that the car wouldn`t start!! When I got home I tried to start it and it sounded like it didn`t have a bit of compresion!! If I would have taken a compression test at that time , it would have shown little if any!! It`s funny how rx`s are when they are really flooded, they turn over like the spark plugs are out!! Pulled the plugs, pulled the ECU injection fuse and turned the engine over with my foot to the floor untill the fuel stopped comming out! Put a little ATF in each spark plug hole, turned it over a couple of times, put new plugs in, plugged in the fuse, and it started right up much to the displeasure of the nieghbors, been running fine ever sence!! Got to admit though that I was a little spooked for awhile as the car has over 250,000 mi.!!!!!!!

next time just do a push start or just pull the egi or whatever its called in the engine bay fuse box and turn the cars engine over for a while. Then put the fuse back in and it should start right up.
The push start never fails though
