well for the last month (I seldom have driven my car because of teh work I am doing on it). I have smelt this nasty smell that does not smell like oil and does not smell like clutch. I got on it yesterday and my friend that has the same car said that his car made the same smell when his melted up. I have a high flow cat (do not know the brand) but I removed my air pump. I am sure that a combo of an atf treatment and lots of flooding have helped destroy it. I am dieing off in power after 7k now. My friend says that is what his did. So what are some options. I do not currently have mufflers just straight pipe. I want to stay duel b/c of look. I what a really free flowing exhaust that sounds good. Oh, if I get a presilencer from RB will a muffler shop in GA put it on or do I have to do it? and what mufflers sound good on our cars?

 

can anyone help?

 

if you knew the brand the cat converter was we can tell you how much you should expect from it. was it a catco? those often have problems on rotaries.
