I sure messed that up...

I was doing some work on the T2, was trying to remove the stock BOV to get to something else, and the nipple on the charge pipe broke off. I've gorilla glued it as a temporary solution, how long do you think it will hold? If it comes loose while driving, how will the car behave?

Thanks for th input.

PS, anyone got a stock charge pipe they need rid of, fast?

Very likely. That'll create one big leak.

^^Thats what I was sort of hoping. So long at I don't pressurize the tube at all. A fellow forum member hooked me up with a metal one, so I'll be better off. I assumed it would fit no problem.

Be careful with your assumptions, but in this case I'm betting it will fit, too. For example: there are at least three different starters for the FC, none of which are interchangeable.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. I've wasted quite a bit of money recently on fixing parts that have broken due to age. And tried replacing them with similar parts to no avail... :-/ Not always cheaper to take the "cheaper" way out...
