i SUCK at driving!

Lately i've stalled my car quite a bit in stop and go situations. Does this harm my car in anyway? Also I am wondering what difference does it make if i press the "sport" button compared to the "normal" button? Thanks.

I don't think it really harms anything other than the starter motor. Constantly stalling means constantly starting, and that will cause shorter starter life.

By now the sport button does nothing, it's to adjust the shocks, but they're so old that it's useless in 99% of the cars that are so equiped.

rotaries are naturally hard to drive bc of the no torqueness.
the best tip I have, is instead of releasing/depressing the clutch/gas at the same time, give it gas first, let the engine rev up a bit, then release the clutch. it only takes half a second and you get goin a lot faster if you throw some inertia into the flywheel

THERES A SPORTS BUTTON?! how come ive never heard of this? only on s5?

o yeh, about driving stick. depending on how worn out ur clutch is, try finding the catching point. stall once to see how far u can depress the clutch. once u found out, give it lil gas, release to the catching point and the car will start moving. once it starts moving, give it more gas and depress the clutch.

and for the hills, most ppl get scared because the car starts moving back. if u juss go like ur on a leveled road, its pretty much te same thing.

it aint THAT hard. ull get use to it in about a week or double ur money back

i didn't mind rolling back......it was the Stalling AND rolling back that scared the shitz out of me.............I honestly drove out of the way to get on the freeway JUST to avoid possibly getting stopped at the light with the incline. those were the days.

The Sport/Normal button probably doesn't even work anymore.
