Really? I couldn't find anything on google, could you give me a link? Seriously, I'm not nay-saying. I'm a big Honda fan but I'm fairly unimpressed by the Si.
The 2006 Civic Si has about the same performance specs as my (stock) 1987 FC: slightly better 0-60, (probably) slightly slower top end acceleration, slightly better slalom time, slightly worse skidpad g's.

I have a 84 prelude for my daily driver, had it for 6 years. Runs great and gets 31MPG.
Hondas are great cars and if modded right can murder people in autocross(certain Honda models apply here though). My buddy James Rowin has a 88 CRX Si that is gutted and has a 1991 B18 with just cams, full exhaust, intake and a SAFC. With his Potenza's he is number one top time in Solo II for Montana SCCA. Puts new Corvettes and even some vipers to shame with the track times he gets. He was just awarded top driver in Montana and now is a professional driving instructor, not bad for starting with a honda.
Its all relative, if you do the job right with qaulity parts and take the time to do the research and make the appropriate mods you can make a little street monsters with the old "H" badge cars. PLUS you got to give Honda credit for always being a breakthrough automotive company!

If done right, hondas can be pretty mean cars. Back before I got into rotaries, I wanted to get an old CRX and build it up to suprise muscle cars with, much like what murray mentioned. I have nothing against any car as long as its done right and tastefully. Its when they start getting into tripple decker wings, outrageous body kits (theres one in town that has horns sprouting out of it. Seriously.), and day-glo orange paint that its gets out of hand. Living in Killeen I see more overdone ricers in a week than most people do in 6 months, so I guess that has helped my tolerance levels some. I'm past the point of hating them, now I just laugh.
