I remember seeing something about not needing a water pump.....
I swear before I saw some system that eliminated the need for a water pump. Some kind of special coolant that made it so that you didn't need the water pump but needed to do a few small things to the cooling system.
I can't remember what it was though. Any thoughts?

It won't. He is a river that heard a trick from some people and don't understand it correctly.
For drag racing applications, some people fill their block solid to run it the 1320. That's all it did and that was all it was good for. It allowed an overbore, practically no head gasket, and all the benefits of a large bore. All of which or irrevelant to what he wants to do with a rotary engine, or what he wants to do with his. He has the misconception that an engine that runs for 20 seconds without a water pump is the same as his.

Did a waterpump touch you in a bad way as a child?

I can envision a system that utilizes natural convection currents to create a "passive (i.e., not pumped) loop but don't see any way to retrofit it to a system (your engine) whose passages were intended to be pressurized.

you can get rid of the belt driven water pump if you use an ELECTRIC water pump....

Correct me If I am wrong.
But an electric waterpump is still a Pump, right?
I can't see any other way of the engine dissipating heat, unless it is an air cooled engine.

Tireburner ... Only spelled this way so I don't have to scroll up to figure out the crazy way you spelled it ...
Why.... Why ....and.... WHY would you want to elminate your waterpump? Is it the fan that is bothering you? If that is the case go to your local parts house and get a 16" fan and wire it in.

Wow. haha.
The name Evans sounds right. I was obviously very wrong about it.
But, I need to replace the water pump, and anytime something goes out, i usually replace it with something better. And, to me, if I could remove the water pump, I would. I already have a very effective e-fan and haven't had any problems there.
I would remove it because, even though the drain isn't much, it's still there.
And, it would be cool to have no belts at all coming off my engine.
hehe.
