i don't think that car is worth it mahn, the mileage on the car itself is telling you not to buy it, what makes you think that after you fix all that needs to be fix that two days later your engine won't crap out....500 prolly not worth it and the red interior = shiet!

I'm sorry, how could you pass on a t2 like that!? haha! I got mine for 1600. 1200 for a turbo car! Ridiculously cheap! same with 1600, but 1200, the cheapest I found before I got my t2 was 2500....

 

Pros- cheap, base model(light), no sun roof, decent condition
Cons-probably needs lots of work any 20 car does, base model(suspension, brakes)

Its probably not a bad car for under 500, the things the base model doesnt come with most people upgrade anyway ex. brakes, suspension... but if you are looking to turbo it then i would wait for a turbo car. it will cost more to do the swap then to just buy a turbo car. If it runs for 300-400 dollars thats not to bad. i bought my 88 vert for 500 and it only ran on one rotor the motor was done, im about 2g into now total cost and shes still not running right. damn wiring harness! anyway its probably not that bad of a buy but like i said if your looking to turbo it just wait for a t2 it will be less of a PITA later and probably cheaper

 

Offer 500... Part it out and sell it here or on ebay... Make 500-1000 profit... Use that money to buy a better 7 and make all of ours go up in value just a little more... Its like killing sooo many birds with one stone...

 

Here's my two cents:

You can buy that car for probably $300. Then, drop $3k into it to make it the equivalent of one you can buy for $1500.

Or, you can take the $3300 you'd spend and get a very, very nice FC. Personally, I wouldn't buy that car just based on the total horseshit the seller is feeding you. Like everyone else has said, it's the base model. It is NOT the "top model" like this guy is telling you. You also don't seem to know anything about RX-7s, so, if I were you, I'd spend a LOT more time doing research and getting to know the cars, and a lot LESS time looking for one to buy. A good buyer is an educated buyer.
