I need to tow my rex...

...and I was wondering if I can just put it in neutral and go? It is a 5 speed n/a 87. Can I just hook it up and tow it or do I need to put it on a flat bed?

flatbed is better, but if you are gonna tow it behind, hook up the back wheels, and let it roll on the fronts.
If all 4 wheels are gonna be on the ground, unhook the drive shaft.

I always just unhook the drive shaft (be sure to mark it) and tow them on a dolly. Front wheels up. Works fine.

They reccomend getting special "dollies" to go under the rear wheels and the front be on a tow truck...

Here is a pic from the FSM.

it says for a manual transmission, if the transmission, rear axle, and steering system are not damaged, the vehicle may be towed on all four wheels.

So... I should be able to just get a tow bar and hook it up and go right?
