I don't what to tell you, but I'll let you in on a little secret... When your sister is not looking, swap ash-trays (they're the same). The MX3 ash-tray has the "PUSH" writing in white, unlike the ugly orange color in the RX7. I have one on mine. looks a lot better :p

Well I don't know of any websites really but corksport sells aftermarket products for them I believe. Are you looking for a forum like this one or what?

They're good little cars. Very sporty for what they are. The ones with the world's smallest V-6 engine are especially sweet. Actually, the V-6 models are kind of hard to find these days.

There's a Mazda club out of Chicago that has a couple of tech advisors who handle all Mazdas. Try going to www.mazdaclub.com You should be able to make a contact, or turn up some info there.

Here's a little more you can do when your sister is not looking-- Not only is the ash-try the same (but better), pull out the cigarette lighter, and swap the plastic Light up piece. The MX3 has a green one, while the RX7 has an ugly orange one.... (can you tell O don't like orange).... But wait... there's more! (ala informercial)
On the ligicon (AC controller), remove two sliding levers (cover), and swap the LED lights. Get some needle nose pliers, and swap... again from ugly orange, to a nice green. MAN!!! I'm giving away all my secrets... I spend a lot of time in wrecking yards, it's a great place for ideas.
I'll post a picture to give you an idea in a new thread because I don't know how to post a picture with a reply (possible?) Look for "LED swap on Center Dash - (MX3)" thread.

1.8 V6, hmmm, my friend said he saw some mazda car having the smaller 6 cyl or v6 or i6, and i was like, uhm, ok.
But thats kinda cool, why don't people ever swap mazda engines into RX's when they're fed up w/ the reliability problems

the MX-3 GS has the worlds smallest production V6 (the KL08). Its not a bad little motor. Basically the same motor as the 2.5L v6 in the mx-6/probe gt with a smaller bore and stroke. The 2.5L actually bolts right up to the mx3, and is a directy swap. The only problems that motor has is leaky valve cover gaskets (common), spark plug wires, cap and rotor go bad (common) and sometimes the front cam bearing dries out gets spun.

both actually. The the cam bearing problems i would say isnt common at all. The KL series motors are really good.
