I posted this because I'm in need of some advice. I got a friend of mine who has another friend who has a turbo2 rx7. He wants to sell me his turbo2 motor, tranny,Differential, Turbonetics T04 , HKS manifold , HKS intercooler, wastegate and HKS SQ BOV. He wants to sell it to me for $2,500. The motor is street ported. the motor does have a problem, He believes that one of the apex seals are bad. I need to know if thats a good price for those parts. Thanks,Dominic

 

im guessing you want to put it in an NA? i personally think its a good deal...the only two things im worrying about is what would you controll it with...are you planning on going standalone? and the deal would be 10X better if you could find a way to rebuild it for cheap.

 

Yea its a NA. He's gonna give me the entire car. for 2,500

 

Chances are the rebuild is going to be expensive if an apex seal has damaged the rotor and housing. If you are getting the entire turboII I would consider 1500.00 with a non-running engine, but just for the engine,tranny, etc.. you can pick up a jspec for less..
