I know that the hood is shaped like a scoop and that only the front edge is plastic but I want the dimensions of the part that is considered the "scoop" section. I am planning to buy an aftermarket scoop and want to know what size to look for to match the TII. So far I have noticed that the 84-85 capri scoop looks good (thanks icemark) but I still don`t have the size of the TII one.

If you plan on making it functional for a TMIC, it would but a good Idea to enlarge the scope opening, also make it taller, one of these days prolly in the summer when I got some time I'm going to extend the scoop opening prolly like2 inches to the front of the car...

 

Close, but what I wanted was the measurement of the whole bump on the hood including plastic and metal as if it were one piece. The 20" wide ann 2" tall sounds good but the length from front to where the hood gets flat again is what I am after.
