Have you checked/set the TPS to be somewhere near where it should be at?
Are you SURE there are no air leaks in the AFM piping and etc?
Have you managed to get the engine warm yet?
Have you checked the timing since you got it started, have you checked it properly?
it shouldn't just "die" below 2000rpm unless there is a major vacuum leak or other big issue.

i think that i found the problem is that a lead coil is bad...

can anyone find the ohm's for a leading coil where you plug in the plugs, on the coil. not the little bolts, i cant find it in my FSM.

now that i know what the problem was

EVERYONE LISTEN if you check every inch of a rebuild and you dont know what is wrong HAVE SOMEONE ELSE L@@K IT over and double check your work!!!!!

i feel really dumb but ill feel even dumber when i get the new coil tomorrow and it not the problem...

ill get back to you all 3.4.2006 <-- that one is KOOL!

ok so i have a NEW leading coil for my 88 and now i dont get spark

i get 12v to the coil when it is plugged in and when i unplug the BY connector i only get 7.45v before cranking and 5.5v when cranking?

someone PLZ help!!!!

who knows 100% that there is NO way that i put the rotors in wrong!

dude if your engine turns the rotors are in right. it will not turn if they are one tooth off
