To avoid blowing this board up..
Ive narrowed down my search to...
15A- Room- fuse blows, the second it touches the 2 points
RED W/ Black stripe wire, (someone hard wired a fuse into it) pops the fuse when you turn the headlights on (this comes off the connector at the switch for the headlight motor and defog...)
Any help...
My guess, a ground inside the car..Could i just find the main ground wire and ground it a couple times in different spots? through out the car?

First off, the room fuse is supposed to be 7.5A. I take it someone swapped yours out. There are no ground wires going in or out of the fuse box. It's power in and power out. If the room fuse is blowing, there's a short in the wiring for something it powers, or a short in the wire leading to to fuse. Go to the power system section of the FSM wiring diagrams (pgs. 50-13 & 50-14), and you'll find a list of the many things powered through that fuse. The list includes the interior lights, warning lights, ECU, stereo & alarm system.

Thank you sir.
So, connector FEM01 and FEM02 im having a short-> front harness to emissions harness
or im shorting between the battery,60a fuse, and the fuse box.....
if i read this correctly, i should check ..
cargo
courtesy lights
interior/spot light
warning buzzer
egi/ecs
warning and auto clock
theft and antennae
However this makes no sense, cause the car runs fine, and hasnt blown the ecu...
Ok...so courtesys are the corners.....
the warning buzzer works, theft system would be stock option, not equipped in original car.
If i dont want the rear cargo lights and the spot lights, ground the negative and and tape the postive? and my autoclock and warning lights are not hooked up...

The ECU gets power from the main relay on pin 3I (FSM pg. 4A-32). I'm not sure what the wire from the room fuse is there for, and as you're finding out, the ECU still works if the room fuse is completely removed. It's there for something; maybe a memory function, since the main relay cuts power when the key is not 'ON'.
FEM01 and FEM02 are connectors between the Front and EMissions harnesses, and they are over on the passenger side of the car. Page 50-14 (and 50-15) just show major connectors between some of the harnesses. Only the wire to the ECU runs through one of these junctions. Everything else is somewhere on the Front harness, Meter harness (and maybe the Engine and Rear harnesses).
The whole car is a ground, so you don't have to ground a negative wire if you are disabling something. Taping up a positive wire is correct because if it were to touch metal, you'd have a short.
I helped another guy track down a short in his wiring awhile back, and it ended up being something a previous owner did. There was some sketchy wiring done on the car, and it was popping the room fuse whenever the 5th gear switch was activated. You should probably start by finding anything the previous owner did. The problem is bound to be there.

There was a wiring problem in the previous body, it had door poopers and a stereo, as well as a couple other things that werent suppose to be there, but, he didnt run the wires thru the proper hole, and ran them by the steering shaft......I had a problem there, but the ended up being wires that didnt go anywhere......
Since than, the car sat for 2 yrs, and about a month ago, i ripped the motor out and dropped it into another body....s4-> s5 so, my problem is probably relative to all that....
So trace from fuse, to switch, see if it gets continuity, than switch to each light for continuity..and the other systems that fuse runs......
So, if that isnt bad enough, i had to take a day off from work, cause i dont have brakes in my daily, and they worked yestreday......
I love being broke....
