I need pics of relocated idiot lights
I have a gauge pod on the way that will replace the idiot lights...I would like to relocate them instead of removing them all together...I am considering making a custom set up where the a/c controls are...What have some of you done? Please post pics if you can...

this is going to sound complicated probly but befoer i sold my 7 i planned on doing the same thing... ordering that guage pod and re locating the lights. so what i thought was this... put the gauge pod in and the gauges... then there is enough space to mount little L.E.D. lights on the front of the gauge pod itself. i planned on taking the most important...say...3 or 4 warning lights and junk the actual unit itself, and wire the ones i wanted to keep into separate l.e.d. lights. drilled small holes in the front of the gauge pod at the bottom between each guage and was going to put the lights i had selected. im not going to read back over what i just wrote becuase it was alot so if that didnt make sense then screw it your on your own. lol

hmmm...I like the gauge pod that I have order...It is not that big of a deal, the wiring is not difficult and building the bracket and a face plate is not that difficult (about the same as most custom strereo installs, just more wires) I'm not asking your opinion on where I am placing my gauges, I've thought long and hard on that, I am looking for pics of relocated idiot lights! I have seen a couple on the forum before, it's been done...pics please, no more "just don't move 'em" comments, please.

Um, I swear someone makes a piece that goes in the center counsel that relocated the idiot lights. It holds the CD deck and all that, but the idiot lights end up right below that... damn I wish I could remember where I saw that.
