Question I Need Oil Cooler Lines

my oil cooler lines are pretty much no good. leaking terribly bad. are the stainless mazdatrix ones the ones to get? i hear factory replacements are expensive. i have an 86 na. or are there other aftermarket ones available. i need to know soon cuz i will need to buy them within the next 2 weeks. thanks in advance,

I highy suggest replacing them with SS lines. I think Racing Beat makes some. I wouldnt bother with the stockers, unless theyre considerably cheaper than any SS lines you can find.

Holy $hit, My oil cooler lines are leaking like hell on my 86, and i just saw my cousin (he has an 88 n/a) and he just fixed his, i have never heard of them going bad until mine started leaking, this is crazy lol.

Yep mine are leaking (well, kinda, something like one drop per hour ), and I was quoted close to 200EUR for two new Mazda ones

When I asked about SS or steel-braided, I was told that the SS would simply snap due to the torque movement of the rotary engine
For the same reason I was told that you cannt put a tower bar on an FC (although the FDs have them from the factory)....

You can save a few bucks by making your own SS lines. Aeroquip lines are easy to put together.

Corksport has the same SS lines as Mazdatrix and they were $40 cheaper when I bought mine a couple of months back.

and only about $20 more for the pair, than just buying a single line from the dealer.
