i need my bad news comfirmed

i believe that i have a blown coolant seal. i get the occational bubble in the radiator filler neck, and while the engine is running it the water level seems to surge, up and down. also when i get close to redline it starts blowing mega white smoke and yes it does smell kinda sweet, but it only smokes at very high RPMs, never during normal driving. so am i correct in assuming the worst here?

also if this is a blown coolant seal, would it cause alot of damage to continue driving it? or would it be ok, just keep adding coolant to replace the lost.

no other leaks that i have found. however the radiator had a walmart cheepo cap on it that never really sealed properly, at least not to me anyway. it was replaced this morning with a new OEM cap from the dealer.

sounds like a water jacket blew, while it isnt as bad i guess you could say, the engine will still need a rebuild, but it will last alot longer than a blown coolent seal as long as you keep the RPM's low and dont dog it
