Hey guys, so Ive read the verts are alot heavier than the coupes, so what can I do to reduce the weight of my car? My seats have speakers in them and seem kind of big, would putting some aftermarket racing seats in there really do anything? Anything will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

remove the top and all the top motors, PS/AC, manual trans....

 

Go on a diet, exercise, ect.

Remove emission parts such as airpump and catalytic converters. Remove your tow hooks. Just think of **** you could do without, and remove it.

Best idea would be to just buy a coupe.

 

take your seatbelts out and the locking mechanisms. those have to weigh at least 15 pounds.

But really, search for a rats nest removal, and removing emissions. Some people remove up to 200 pounds, which I think is pretty dagone good.

 

Gut all the stock stereo and amplifier stuff. Pull the A/C if you don't need it. I'd keep the top motors tho, that way you can raise and lower the top from the driver's seat.
