BC I need help with replacing rear diff mounting bolt

Hey so the rear diff mounting bolt on my 86 gxl has snapped and I need to replace it. I was told I could either replace the bolt or weld it in place. I am a welder by trade but I think it would be better to just replace the bolt. Is this right? I am new to rx7's so is ther any one that can help me out? Maybe post some pics and show me how to get to it?
Thanks

Really, the bolt snapped? you were in an accident or over torqued it?

There are 5 bolts for the differential. Which one broke?

And are you sure you don't mean the rear differential's front mount broke, not a bolt broke? The front mount on the differential is the most common damage related to the differential.

You replace it.

The Hayes Manual has an excellent write up (as well as there have been several good write ups here on this board).

You can weld it back together, burning out the rubber isolation of the mount, but that tends to make it noisy, and the next time you just shear the metal or a couple of bolts on the mount, instead of just the rubber.
