I NEED HELP!! please

hey-
ok, my car is having trouble starting. it will not finish starting up. it will start sometimes...but when it does, it is making a wierd sound like and white smoke is coming out the exhaust pipes like its flooded. i just got my oil and oil filter changed, and brand new ngk spark plugs.
i have a 13b engine. i am not an expert but i do know a few things. i have been told many things that could be wrong but i cant just go and spend money on all these new parts and hope it'll work. if you can help me, please post a message, and i will answer any questions you have. thank you very much!

My car does the same some times. I was told to push the gas peddel to the floor and keep crancking, Works but cost me a starter. Then changed the plugs, plug wires and fuel filter, all is ok. Mechanic also said to remove the fuse that controls the computer chip, reset, and all should be ok.

yeah, thats what i did to start it the other day, hold down the gas pedal and keep cranking and it eventually started but there was alot of gas that got flooded and lots of white smoke comes out. i dont think my spark plug wires are bad, but i was thinking maybe there is something clogged in my fuel filter or somethin that was stopping it from getting gas sometimes...i dont know, i may be wrong, thats why im trying to get some advice from someone who knows their rotaries...please reply, thanks!

number one rule is to ALWAYS let the engine warm up after starting it, before shutting it down again, that'll solve 90% of your flooding problems

first off check compression, might be why not wanting to start. Can't tell you much more then that from your discription... what color is the smoke? How does it smell?

ok, i took her to a mechanic....who was a dyke woman. shes tryin to charge me 3100 dollars for parts, labor, garage supplies and "other stuff" she fixed a spark plug which one of my friends put in wrong. and thats it so far...shes sayin that my fuel injectors are leaking and my catalytic converter is melted and "it looks like my fuel filter has never been changed" im gonna tell her to get my car out of her shop and buy a new catalytic converter and gas filter...any advice on what else i should do?
